Zero-cost community learning

We can help your school deliver a zero-cost community learning service to help parents get back to learning, update their skills and achieve qualifications online.

Parents and family members can now achieve a Level 1 or Level 2 qualification with comprehensive guidance and support from an online tutor. All courses are government funded in association with Further Education colleges, so there are no costs to you or the learner.

Research shows a clear link between the level of parental support for a child’s learning and overall academic attainment. Finding ways to help parents participate as learners themselves acts as a launch-pad to changing attitudes towards academic achievement.

We currently have places available on our Essential IT Skills (Level 1 and 2), Business and Administration (Level 2), Equality and Diversity (Level 2) and Customer Service (Level 2) courses.

Each course will provide your pupils’ family members with a flexible way to experience 21st century online learning, while gaining skills for life and work. Learners can study 100% online from their home PC or wherever they have internet access.

Because our community learning service is tried and tested, we can have it up and running – with the minimum of fuss. Get in touch with our Business Development Manager Andrea Wadham by calling 0191 215 4100 or emailing andrea.wadham@creatingcareers.com and find out how we can help you achieve your community learning objectives for free.
