Pupils using vision2learn for schools can now brush up on their IT knowledge with a brand-new Functional Skills ICT resource.
The latest addition to our online Functional Skills suite provides the essential skills and knowledge that pupils need to prepare for their Functional Skills ICT exams. Through a series of practical, real-life scenarios pupils will learn how to select and use suitable software that will enable them to carry out particular tasks.
Functional Skills ICT contains useful signposts to Essential IT Skills Level 2 to help pupils re-master or refresh their knowledge of popular Microsoft Office programs and Internet best practice. The resource can be used in preparation for Functional Skills exams, GCSE and as a general Level 2 IT revision aid.
Functional Skills ICT has five online sessions:
Session 1: Finding and selecting information from the Internet Session 2: Preparing a leaflet for employees Session 3: Preparing a slide show Session 4: A complex data handling task Session 5: Analysing numerical data and creating a chart
