Our new Essential IT Skills Level 3 course is now live on vision2learn for schools.
A fantastic way to prepare learners for the world of work, this course provides a strong grounding in Microsoft Office programs that feature in everyday office life. This course goes beyond the basics of Word and Excel to equip learners with an in-depth knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software that will support their progression to a business environment or further study in ICT.
Essential IT Skills Level 3 will help to ensure that learners reap the benefits of their study regardless of any potential changes to the curriculum. Furthermore, with the Raising of the Participation Age in 2013, this course is the perfect option for those students and teachers seeking meaningful alternatives to traditional A-Levels that truly improve employability.
Units covered by this course include Word Processing Software, Spreadsheet Software and Improving Productivity Using IT. These units are designed to be combined with existing Level 2 IT units to enable learners to achieve a Level 3 Certificate in IT User Skills and are aimed at 16-18 year olds.
