Our latest addition of Edexcel WorkSkills QCF credit-based courses enable learners to choose from a suite of ‘mix and match’ units of 10-20 guided learning hours to achieve:

Qualification/no. of credits GCSE equivalent GCSE points score* Contribution to Level 2*
BTEC Award (minimum 3 credits) .25 GCSE 10 5%
BTEC Certificate (minimum 13 credits) 1 GCSE 40 20%
BTEC Diploma (minimum 37 credits) 4 GCSEs 160 80%

This personalised approach to developing ‘work-ready’ skills is effective for all kinds of learners including: ‘underachievers’, ‘gifted and talented’, ‘school refusers’ and ‘home learners’. All learners can gain accreditation for skills you may already be teaching in PSHE.
